Mr. Mark Pochron
Mr. Pochron was first elected to the Board of Education in 1991. He has served as Board President, Vice-President, Alternate to the CTC JOC and on virtually every committee ever formed by the board, including its very first committee, an education committee.
Mr. Pochron was born and raised in Greene County (Dry Tavern) and currently resides in Rices Landing Boro with his wife Lori (JM'82), daughter Marissa (JM'15) and son Michael (JM'17). He is a 1977 graduate of Jefferson-Morgan and earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from California University of PA while minoring in Economics.
He is a co-owner of Dry Tavern True Value Hardware along with his two brothers, continuing the family business originally founded by their father in 1951.
He has donated time and served in many capacities with non-profit organizations throughout our community and state through the years and has coached youth athletics in the past.
