Thinking of sending food items for the entire class to enjoy? Before you do, plese read the The Pennsylvania Department of Education Nutrition Standards for Classroom Parties & Holiday Celebrations. The Jefferson-Morgan School District has adopted the state nutrition standards which requires that fewer (up to three) high-sugar foods be served at classroom parties (such as cupcakes).
