TITANIC RISES FROM THE DEPTHS | ||||||||||||||
Mrs. Moskola's reading classes have been enjoying a cross-curriculum unit extending from the story Titanic. In Math, taught by Mrs. Chesney, they used time lines, measurement and an outline of the Titanic was constructed in grass. Mrs. Starostanko, their science teacher, discussed buoyancy and students constructed boats of household items. In English, taught by Mrs. Muchoney, they made silent films of different settings. The students had a Titanic Tea to conclude their unit. Students had a Titanic Tea to conclude their unit. Students from the Greene County Career and Technology Center made a Baked Alaska and served it to all students. |
