We realize that it can be difficult to keep track of cafeteria fees and payments to the school district. To help simplify this process, the Jefferson-Morgan School District has enrolled in an Internet-based service called Cafe Prepay. This service is a website where you can pay and monitor your child's cafeteria account. Participation in this service is voluntary and you may enroll at any time keeping in mind that this program is hosted, maintained, and operated by the Barr Security Company and not the Jefferson-Morgan School District.

Up to now, we have not been able to accept credit card payments. Businesses that accept credit cards must forfeit a percentage of the sale to the credit card companies as well as pay a transaction and monthly fee. The Jefferson-Morgan School District simply cannot afford to absorb these fees; therefore the Café Prepay program was developed to provide the service for us.

Please understand In order to keep this service frees to the district; Cafe Prepay adds a service fee to each transaction . The service fee covers the cost of processing your credit card payments, as well as the cost of maintaining the Café Prepay website. There is no charge to view your child's cafeteria account balances, only to deposit funds .

To use this service:

•  You must first enroll in the Café Prepay website. You will choose a login name, which you will use each time you need to make a payment or view an account on the website, a valid email address where payment confirmations will be sent to by Cafe Prepay.

•  You will then be asked to enter a password. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive and must be at least 6 characters long. You will then be asked to enter a security question of your choice in case you forget your password or user name. (Note: The Jefferson-Morgan School District does not have the capability to recover usernames or reset forgotten passwords, to do so you must contact Cafe Prepay directly.)

•  You will now be asked to add a student to your account. You will search for the School District by state, then district, then building. To find your child, type in the last name or grade level in the Find Student section.

•  When you have located your child in the results listed below, click the Add to My Students link in the left hand side of the screen. The student will be automatically added to your list. You may do this operation as many times as needed.

Special Notes:

•  The minimum deposit amount that can be made is $25.00

•  Deposits made will be executed on the student account that funds were deposited into, not distributed over all students on your list.

•  You must know your child's JM Cafeteria ID number to deposit funds into his/her account.

Once you have enrolled on the Café Prepay website and received your password from Cafe Prepay, you will then be able to log in and enter your personal information. All information is stored in a secure, offline database and is accessed only to process payments and send payment confirmation via email.
