Application Information

Teaching Positions
Jefferson-Morgan School District utilizes PA Educator as the primary source for identifying candidates for teaching positions. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted electronically through PA Educator. Hard copy applications are not accepted for teaching positions.

Support Staff and Substitute Positions
Interested candidates should submit:

  • District Application
  • Resume
  • Applicable certifications or licenses (if required)
  • Act 34, Act 151, Act 114, and Act 168 clearances
  • Three letters of reference (full-time positions only)

Athletic Coaching and Volunteer Positions
Individuals interested in serving as a head coach, assistant coach, or volunteer coach must complete the following steps to be considered:

  • Letter of Interest
  • Submit a completed Coaching or Volunteer Application located in the attachments at the bottom of this page.
  • Provide the required clearances
  • Paid coaches must submit PA Criminal History, PA Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
  • Volunteer coaches must submit PA Criminal History and PA Child Abuse clearances. An FBI fingerprint-based background check under Act 114 is required unless the volunteer has lived continuously in Pennsylvania for the previous ten years.
  • All assistant and volunteer coaches must receive the approval and recommendation of the varsity head coach prior to consideration.
  • No head coach, assistant coach, or volunteer coach will be recommended for Board approval or permitted to begin coaching duties until a completed application and all required clearances are on file in the District Office and have been reviewed for compliance.
