About Our District
Jefferson-Morgan is a small, rural school district. The size of the district makes it possible for almost everyone to know each other. The district is structured as Pre-K to 6 in the Elementary School, grades 7 and 8 in the middle school, and grades 9 to 12 in the high school. During the implementation of the strategic plan of 1999-2005, the district expanded its use of technology. Teamwork is now evident across professional staff and project-based plans are being implemented by teacher teams across the K-12 spectrum.

** ATTENTION: URGENT MESSAGE REGARDING BEEF PRODUCTS **
The Jefferson-Morgan School Cafeteria has not and will not receive any meats from the Westland/Hallmark Meat Company. Westland/Hallmark Meat Company of Chino, CA has been the focus of an investigation involving ground beef that may be unfit for human consumption which ultimately resulted in a recall of the ground beef in question.
Other school districts in the state of PA may have been involved due to the further processing of their ground beef which Jefferson-Morgan cafeteria did not do for the 06-07 or 07-08 school year. Jefferson-Morgan Cafeteria received its ground beef from a different USDA meat packing company, Chicago House, a company based in Illinois.
